R50/53 At Long Last, My MCS is in Production.
I am overjoyed to be able to say that my IB/IB MCS is in production. It has been over two years that I have been waiting for this moment.
I hope that Stork has strong wings to bring my baby home.

Congratulations! I'm not sure if you are in the U.S.A. or not, or even if that matters, but there is a thread for May 2004 builds (and late April builds too such as yourself) and we are tracking each other's progress, possible ships, etc. etc. Join us if you wish....
While waiting to order my MCS, I have managed to maintain my sanity for a long time (at least from my perspective, those that know me may have a different opinion). Now the real sanity test begins.
With the car is in production today, what is the typical time for West Coast delivery? I expect about 2 months. Maybe I will get car at the end of June, or early July. Does that sound about right?

Congatulations! Your MINI will be here soon enough. They usually arrive a week early. The break in period was the hardest part for me. Knowing you can drive it, but don't red-line it. It's like straping a rocket to your back, but not pushing the start button. That was the longest three days to watching the odometer reach 1200 miles...hehehe ZOOM, ZOOM!
