How can I get the code to see what the error is? Is there a way or is the dealership my only option?
Has anyone had this issue with installing any of the mentioned modifications? If so what was your problem?

Any McAutoParts store can read your codes. There are also tools, such as a ScanGauge, that are designed to give you lots and lots information (including trouble codes) about what is going on inside your car's brain.
Did you do the install yourself? Did you check all your vacuum lines are on and tight. Did you check your coil terminals for corrosion? Are your ignition wires seated well? Does the car run funny or miss at all? Hard Start? What year is your car? How long have you had it?
The more info you can provide, the easier it is to diagnose what's up. Also, knowing your trouble code would help. If you're going to work on your car, I'd recommend getting a ScanGauge or at least a code reader and a Bentley Manual.

The light on could literaly be from most anything...mod-related or not.
Could be anything from a bad o2 sensor to a looses gas-cap...
Could be misfire, etc...
With no code...
Nobody knows....

I had initially had switched the 3rd & 4th plug wires when replacing the spark plugs. I fixed the issue then reset the ecu but still had the light. I did do all the installs myself on my 06' MCS. I am going to run by an auto store tomorrow to try and get the code to see whats up.

An odb2 reader...as little as $30 can do that...or if the code is not active...the light will go out after a few days.
Tip...if they plug in, they can USUALLY ONLY read the code...
if you get the LOANER TOOL, you can READ, then if you want DELETE the code.
