Ok so what is the best rally lamp kit to get? One that fits on the car well and easy to install would help.

Is it better to get the MINI dealer offering or the Hella? Or is there something better?

I'd stay away from the dealer lights. Though the mounts and wiring are good (and, by the way, pretty standard) the lights themselves leave a lot to be desired. I've read numerous posts of quality problems with those lamps. For the money they're asking they just aren't worth it. Go with an aftermarket light.
