Hi all -

It's time to get new tires and I can't seem to find info if plus-sizing would work for the R98 17" web spokes. OEM specs is 205/45-R17 and the suspension is stock. I'd like to improve the ride with 215/45-R17. Would they fit and is there any problems with rubbing?

I had the R98's, until I sold them. Had Goodyear Eagle GS-D3's, 215-45-R17. No issues whatsoever. You'll be fine.

I switched to a different wheel, but kept with the 215/45/17's. No rubs.

 

forgot, I had some pics with the 215/45/R17, when I sold them on Craigs...

I loved those Goodyear Eagles, but couldn't get them anymore.

I went with a Konig Foil instead. Shaved a little weight on the corners.

I run 215 45- 17 Kumho Ecsta AST's on my R98's. No problems and that with some lowering and camber.
