Mystery switch

I have a mystery switch and I cannot seem to find its function. It is a center instrument switch, my switch set has six switches. It is window, dsc, lock, ?, fog lamp, window. The switch has an emblem shapes like a light and has an orange light on the end like the fog light green light...but when switched doesn't do anything. I have accessory lights (grill lights) and the push button on/off on the knee pad by the wheel. Any ideas?

That's the rear fog lights. Are you sure you don't have them? They were in the rear light clusters on gen1s as I remember.

it bothered some folks to have a missing switch (OR IN SOME CASES 2)....so many folks put in the full switch unit, even if it was not needed. So just cause you have the switch....you may not have the feature.

The rear fog lights are in the tail lights. Start the car, turn on head lights then turn on rear fog light switch. go to back of car and see if they are on.

That is where my rear fog light switch is. The rear fog light has an amber led in the tip of the switch and is light when on. The front fog lamp switch has a green led tip. They are difficult to see in the day time. The rear fog lamp is not always in the tail lights. Ours is in the Middle of the bumper right above the exhaust pipes (2005 R53).
