Shame you spun it into the snowbank...but tires are pretty cheap compared to bodywork. Kinda surprised you did not notice they were wornout when you did the brakes...must have been embrassing to have the guy at sears bleeding you brakes telling you you needed tires....especially after all the work you did on the car.
For a couple $$ at harbourfreight, or most autostores, you can buy a "one man" brake bleed kit...a bottle and a long hose basicly...so you can bleed then without help...just keep the resiviour filled.
good luck...sounds like the new car has been a learning experance.
I'm kinda curious how/where you put the bleed lines using the metal hoses....inquiring minds want to know!! Pictures!!!

 

I slid into a guard rail, I knew the front tires needed replaced a while ago, but the rear ones I just replaced a few months ago, and thought they still look good, but they are worn at certain spots cause of the wheel alignment issue. I made my own one man kit, then I bought the one man kit cause mine wasn't working right, didn't see any air bubbles with the one man kit I bought, resevoir was full, but somehow air was getting in.

I wasn't using metal hoses to bleed the brakes. I have metal hoses for the radiator. Also this car is a 2003, 163,000 miles.
