Possible sale of petgost my beloved mini

Guys,
I have been in haitus, due to work and personal matters. Now I’m back and I am reaching out to you for some thoughts about the “possible” sale of petgost; specifically, around pricing. The reason being is due to a salvaged title. However, the car was bought from someone I know and the car was hit on the driver side rear corner and guess declared salvaged, who knows why. Previous owner (friend of mine) address all the cosmetic issues, non-mechanical.

However, since inception about 2 or so years ago, the car has gone through a major transformation just because wasn’t satisfied, please see here for details: http://www.motoringunderground.com/f...hlight=petgost. I have done so much and done all the right things. The car runs like a champ with no problem. The reason for the sale is something personal, and due to this I may need to upgrade to a 4 door. As it is the car is in tip top shape, no mechanical issue whatsoever, currently sit at 62k mileage and all up to date as far as maintenance.

Thoughts on pricing?

What state/zip code are you in? IMHO, this may help because LOCATION plays a role in pricing.

I think the salvage title is the big stumbling block for people looking at this post, with the add ons and work and then the salvage its on an island, I would think post it for what you think it should get and let the people lead you towards a middle ground the mileage is right and so is the mods.

It's going to be worth way less than you think thanks to having a salvage title.

It may have only been minor damage, but the fact of the matter is its been declared salvaged and any buyer will not look past that. Sure you've modded it nicely and taken good care of it, but mods are essentially worth nothing and can actually hurt you in value.

You are going to have to sell it to an enthusiast who a) likes what you've done with the car and b) doesn't mind owning a car with a salvage title.

Guys,
Thank you for the all the input. I am aware that there are a lot to consider in putting gost to sale. I guess best thing to do is test the water, placed an ad out there.

Thank you very much again.

Stay tuned ...
