SOLUTION: I too have not found a way to fit my large coffee mug in today's newer cup holders. Try MINI MOD #347 - pour the morning brew in the windshield washer fluid tank (holds just enough Peet's Major Dickason's Blend for my San Jose commute) and reroute the tubing to the visor vanity mirror - leave enough tubing so it's within easy reach for a quick sip when you hit the washer switch. If you have the cold weather package this really takes the frozen slush off the headlamps if you leave them hooked up. Tried it on Donner Pass last weekend.

 

Man, I wish we had a Peete's here in Orange County. Actually, I take that back because they do have one - in Newport Beach. I will restate that as, "man, I wish Peete's would replace Starbuck's in Orange County. Great coffee!

Judging by the way McDonald's and other fast food places have been raked over the coals with lawsuits brought on by willpowerless gluttons, maybe BMW doesn’t want to be sued for encouraging irresponsible eating habits!

 

Hey, and we thought the WMD's would never be found!!!!! Seeeeee, told ya......clear as day, in that mug is where they are........

I've not yet spoken to the cup/holder/size.... issue to date.
My spin... for whatever it's worth :smile:

I exclusively use the.... rear holder.... behind the front seats...
and I only purchase/use.... cup/bottle sizes.... that fit there :smile:

Yes, it does, quite nicely in fact, it holds it in place very well, and I've never had a problem (nor with the MINI mug, which is bigger on the top).
