my headlight on the drivers side flickers when i go over a bump, and sometimes goes out. when it goes out the fog lights come on dimly and the passenger scuttle light comes on. i took it to a mechanic, and he said i had a short in the grounding. would new headlight units help? or is it in the wiring harness? if in the harness, is this easy to repair/ replace?

 

I am assuming you have the HID's installed correct? I have the same issue with my 02' R53. If you do indeed have the HID setup, I know the exact reason. I'll even post pictures for you. But I just don't want to go through all that work if not or if you already figured it out lol.

 

I do have the HIDs and still haven't fixed it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
