I hope all goes well for you and what is left of your MINI.

My steering picked up a new unusual noise during RDR-II yesterday - I was straight over to the dealership today for expert opinion - they tightened a bushing and all is well now, but your story tells us not to dismiss anything unusual.

 

Just courious Scott, any update?

Got my car back from the dealer last night. Steering is much improved over previous.

Removed the stereo from the MINI last night. Kinda was sobering/ and humorous at the same time. Put the factory head unit back in and we listened to the local country music station...the only thin that would come in, while we stripped the car. We kind of chuckled when we left, cause i locked the doors with the key, not that it helped cuz the windows are out of it. lol... Appraiser was there today to take a look at it, and I guess we'll see what comes of it tomorrow or the next day? Steve is gonna try and send the film camera with his wife to the photomat tomorrow, will get prints and a photo CD and i'll post as soon as I get them home. It was my mom's car, so ultimately it's up to her what happens with regard to contacting BMW/MINI or PI lawyer.
