R50/53 Spacer Help
Spacer Help
Hey there,
I have an '03 MCS on stock suspension and was looking to space the wheels out a bit to get rid of that "tucking" look. I have never dealt with spacers, nor do I know how to measure, so I was hoping someone could advise on what sizes are needed.
Thanks

Some people believe that spacers are bad for your axles. True or not, I don't know, I'm not a physicist; calculus and physics hurt my brain.
I just went with a wider aftermarket wheel with a greater offset that sticks the wheel out more. Now I'm flush and sometimes the back rubs the fenders. If you want to keep your current wheels, then get spacers. I guess, just grab a ruler and see how many mm you want to get your wheels to stick out, and then go get that size spacer to the nearest 5mm measurement.
If you ask a sales guy to help, there's a 95% chance he'll try to up sell you on longer lug bolts. You only need them if you're going over 20mm spacers - in my opinion.
