Here's My Indi!

Took advantage of the awesome skies this evening, despite almost being blown away by heavy winds! Gotta watch out for tiny girls like me, cuz the wind could pick us right up!

Here's Indi, freshly lowered on new springs
Just thought I'd share.

Indi Blue has always been one of my favorite colors on a MINI. Love how the white really pops on it.

Ever consider white stripes? And if you could commit to white wheels, she would really be a stunner.

As is... beautiful.

I agree, I love this color. I was so happy when I found one! I really preferred the black over the white, but the white is growing on me

I actually just ordered white stripes yesterday! They are a "bubble" design

I don't know about white wheels. Here in dusty AZ, it'd be so hard to keep them clean! I am actually doing bronze wheels soon. I love the way dark blue and bronze look together.

Yeah, white wheels would turn you unto a nutcase if you aren't the type to wipe them down every day.

Post pics after your stripes are put on and after you put the new wheels on!

Dark blue and Bronze!! Sounds perfect to me. What springs you on? And just new springs? Stance looks great, why wonderin. Keep up the great set-up, and your own ideas have seemed the best to me so far. "bubble strips".... Well I have to see that one first. Lol.

Indi Blue is my favorite MINI color. I guess that explains why I bought my '04 R53 years ago...and haven't traded it for anything else.

I've got several sets of wheels...15" winter cheapies, 16" wheels just like yours, and the 17" white S-Lites that came w/ my car from the factory. I love the way white wheels pop when clean, but they are a major PITA to keep clean, especially with the factory brake pads. That's why I'm running the 16" wheels this summer...didn't want to bother with cleaning the white wheels every other day.

Wish I could lower my car just a hair...but it's already too low for the roads we have here in Kodiak, Alaska.

Definitely post pics of when you get the new wheels and stripes. I had the factory stripes removed from my car a few years back and now I'm thinking about getting another set to put on there...

I also have an 04 R53 Indi with black roof, had the white stripes, but took them off for a few years, now I have Black carbon fiber with silver accent. Like other's I keep a few sets of wheels, Black Sport edition 16s for Winter, Factory 16s with race rubber for the track and autocross, and my 17s for summer. I have owned over 30 cars, and with the exception of my Vette and Porsche none have stayed more then 2 years, The mini is a different car, not once in the almost 5 years of owning it have I thought of replacing it, it makes even the daily drives to work fun. Good luck and happy motoring

Thanks everyone

I love this car! I am on HP+ lowering springs that my husband bought me last week. She was on Koni's, but they were made upside down and were making weird noises :/ It's all fixed now.

I will definitely post pics of the new setup and stripes! The stripes just shipped this morning, so hopefully they should be here soon. I will probably order the wheels and tires in about 2 weeks

I just joined NAM yesterday. I have an 04' Indi Blue S with 17" White S-lites. I just bought the car and haven't had time to clean the wheels up really good. There is baked on brake dust all over the inside and between the spokes. Between the fact that they are going to be a pain to keep clean and the fact they are curbed pretty bad (all 4) from the previous owner, I am thinking about either repairing and painting them silver, or changing them for different rims.

Cool car. Do you have a roof graphic? Also, nice companion car in the garage. Great color. The blue one too...

Thanks

Yes, Indi loves her garage companion. And no, no roof graphic. She has the suroof. I am thinking about getting regular stripes for the boot, and then blue ones for the top, so it looks like the stripe is going all over the car, then forms the bubbles p front We'll see though.

My husband's had a roof graphic. He removed it though because it was all faded and cracking. From so much sun exposure, though, the graphic is vaguely visible still. It was a Welsh dragon, which I thought fit, cuz I'm part Welsh lol

Her new wheels finally came! Tires coming tomorrow

Rota Grid in Royal Bronze
(the pic doesn't really show the real color, cuz of the garage lighting)

Here's a better idea of the color (minus the 5-lug lol)
