R50/53 Schroth Harness injury?
I know nuttin' about these harnesses, BUT based on photos of them I've seen and accidents I've had to witness with regular seat belts, it looks like the Schroth would be great at keeping the driver in best position during lateral and vertical G challenges, but in a frontal accident, the entire trunk slides forward. Typically we see bruising across the chest with standard seatbelts, implying how much force is on that point of contact. SO - would the Schroth put excessive pressure on the shoulders (very weak things, those shoulder joints) with frontal impact? Anyone have any experience in this area?
