Hey fellow motorers,
I recently changed my plastic coolant tank to an aluminum one, due to the faulty reviews I've read. I figured I'd knock it out of the way before I end up with coolant all over my garage floor. Everything went fine, but when I started driving it, coolant started pouring out of the top (from the cap). I figured it was too full so I took some out, yet it is still spilling out of the top. The level is down to the fins in the tank, so I don't understand how it could still be leaking out of the top. Any ideas? Do I need a new cap? It's not leaking from anywhere else.
TIA

I'm hoping it's just the cap. I have, however read that a lot of people have this issue because the coolant tank is a breather? Does that sound right?
