R50/53 Replacing the glove box

Replacing the glove box

Hello, I've searched but can't find a link to a 'how to' replace my 03 glove box. I bought a used one, now I need to unistall and install. Any threads here?

Thanks. I had found that one, and in the end it did help. Just did it....relatively simple. For other searchers, here's what I did. 1) Look at the center of the back wall of the glovebox. There is a screw there, unscrew it. 2) Look at the top front rim of the box, you'll see a right screw and a left screw, unscrew them. 3) Look at the right side and left side front edges of the box, you'll see a screw on each side, recessed, unscrew them. 4) You'll have to get your hand under and up the outside left of the box to unplug the little AC hose (if you have one) 5) Now you can pull the glovebox straight out. Remember to unplug the glovebox interior light at the top before you pull it all the way out. Ta Da! NOTE - watch for the 2 plastic screw pieces (blue) that the top screws go into. They may fall out. Just go in reverse to install new glovebox. It's not hard.
