Slowly building up the wife's MCS. Here's a before shot of when we brought it home last summer:

After she figures out if she wants black or red on the door handles and gas cap I'll wrap those, and then she wants to replace the strips with an offset stripe to the driver's side continued on the rear. Then I get to start on the internals. Exhaust, reduction pulley, etc.

I only get to drive it on the weekends, but it is an absolute blast and a nice break from my Jeep (although it has been siphoning money from the old Jeep fund lately . . . my LJ coilover conversion dreams are slowly fading ).

Still thinking over how what to wrap on the front and where the red should go. I'll have to have another look at it once the stripe is on.

No red stripe on me but I'm liking it. Not sure if the red on the door handles and gas cap would go. Maybe black with a little red pin stripe possibly.

 

That looks really nice. I have the same mini and was wondering what some red would look like. Now I know. Can't wait for spring so I can experiment!

I agree red mirrors would look badass. Think about wrapping the top in red too!
