Although it's been a while, back when I lived there I had a radar detector - but they only use radar on 83 (the interstate highway to Baltimore, a road you will come to know very well), and there were so many false positives that it wasn't worth it.

(very similar to the Escort 9500ix - they have GPS to spot red light and photo radar, etc.), because :
1) not only regular radar, but photo-radar and red light cameras abound when I drive into MD to visit my folks.
2) the PA house and senate keep introducing bills for red light cameras, local radar, etc. in small cities like York
(none have passed yet, but they probably will soon).
In the area I'd check out helix for a perf shop for mini's.
I haven't seen many mini's at cbrd... I didn't know chad and them did anything with them???
Carlisle mini is decent to go on drives with in the summer, they do drives Every month and there are a couple of us with nice cars that make for a fun drive.
