Mods so far on the R50.

Basically Blacked the beltline, blacked boot handle, de badged, removed the antenna and plugged the hole, and removed stripes.

Will have my wheels mounted and pics up soon (:

Lookin' good! What kind of wheels are you putting on there? I've done similar cosmetic mods on my Chili Red '06 R50 as well.. debadge, carbon boot handle, antenna delete. I've gone back and forth on the black beltline, it's chrome now but I'll probably change my mind again

Looks great. I'd like to debadge mine but haven't tried heat on it yet. How did you do it?

I just parked it in the sun for an hour and got behind it with dental floss. A hairdryer should be more than enough heat, now that it's a little colder out. I just used my thumb to rub off the excess residue.

A tip, put a piece of masking tape across the lettering BEFORE you remove them with the floss. That way you keep them in the correct position and spacing in case you ever need to put them back on.

The wheels are konig rollers 16 x 7.5!
