2005 mini cooper with 93,000 miles on it. The stock pump failed in October. Failure mode was the stuck on all the time scenerio. I sent my pump to BBA remanufacturing for repair. I installed my rebuilt pump. It worked fine for one month then died. Failure mode was 30 amp blown fuse in the engine compartment. I replaced the fuse. The pump had power going to it but there were no signs of life. BBA sent me a rebuilt pump from their shelf. I installed it and it worked great for one week. Now that one died this morning, no signs of life. I have checked the fan and it is working properly - it comes on when the radiator fan comes on.

Question is - am I just unlucky with bad rebuilt PS pumps, or could there be something else that is causing the pumps to go bad?
