water/methanol AEM kit???

I've searched around to see if anyone has done this with an R53..but didn't see anything on here, just wondering if that will work with the supercharger or if that's a more common thing to have with a turbo. any feedback, links or tips would be very helpful done some research but haven't really found any solid answer..Thanks in advance.

There are a number of threads related to water/methanol injection. Looked on the AEM site and didn't see anything special or different that would keep it from being used on a MINI.

ive been looking into it as well its the same progressive system that alta sells but slightly cheaper and if i remeber correctly altas system requires you to use the windsheild washer resevoir .and aem offers a 1 gallon and 5 gallon tank for less.. alta does have good parts though..ill be going with aem when i get to that point.. there are a few other brands as well but to answer your original question a water meth injection is a great add on for your mini, especially if your going with a smaller supercharger pully.. just my 2 cents

I suggest you look at the aqua mist HFS systems. (3 or 2 probably is what you need)

Very adjustable and great support.

Here is the manual.

These guys own minis and know everything inside and out. That is worth some $$ to get it right the first time.

+1

I've never run anything else, but what a system it is. And customer support is amazing. My business partner bought a second hand system off someone, and both Jeff Howerton and Richard Lamb have spend hours assisting us in troubleshooting it's fitment into his VW Golf GTi.

No surprises as to why I'm selling his systems down here in Aus.

any updates on this? i am looking into the aem kit as well. rule of thumb is you get what you pay for, and from what ive heard, the howerton is probably the best choice, but has anyone run the aem kit successfully?
