R50/53 Total miles your MINI has right now
2002 MINI Cooper 329,000 miles
Amazing Car!!! Still a Joy to Drive - and nothing 'getting tired' yet!
But, I did start to hear funny suspension noises in the rear as I hit this year's new Pot Holes. Dealer replaced worn Rear Sway Bar Links and Bushings. That made everything like new - so, I guess I won't have to worry about that for another 300,000 miles! (MINI Service Advisor was quite sure I didn't need Struts - He said they'd never replaced any struts except those damaged in accidents!)
Only 2 more weeks and I'll be at MINI United in England - Waving jealously at all the oncoming MINIs from a rented Ford Focus! And my MINI, parked for a week in the garage, will probably cool all the way down to ambient temperature!

2004 indi blue R50. with nothing but good reviews to give about the CVT that everyone else seems to be having problems with.
99,350 miles, give or take a dozen.
bone stock. every powertrain part still original to my knowledge, unless the previous owner swapped something and didn't tell me, which i doubt because it seems like the previous owner didn't really care about the car all that much, unfortunately.
this summer, though, before i go away to college, i'm having my mechanic look over everything, just in case a problem is waiting in the wings. that, and having the bodyshop fix my debadging holes and my rear-right quarter panel.
i'm hoping to show up at MOTD next year. i would have this year, but i'm trying to end high school with decent grades and as much AP credit as possible.

Coming back from MINI United 2009 last night, my 06R53 went over 70k!! And yesterday was Maggie's 3rd anniversary for her build date, too!
Cheers!!

I did a double take when I saw that... nice!
