Ok to use fix a flat?

I have a quick question to which I need a quick answer. Can I use "fix a flat" (spray can solution to flat tire) on a 2006 Cooper with standard issue tires (Continental 175/65R15)? I've heard stories where people had used that stuff and ruined their tire pressure monitoring systems. I've ordered new tires, but they wouldn't come in for a few days. My tires are very low (less than 20 psi) and I need to pump air daily. Thanks.

Your car does not have in rim/tire preasure sensors (a few cabrio's gen1 did due to gvy mandates)....so the fix a flat will not harm sensors...but...
When you go to remount tires, fix a flat makes a big mess...some places may charge you more to clean up the rim...it is a temp fix...and you must tell the tire installer you used it...for their safety.
Imo just keep adding air...heck one or two more days....it is unusual that you are loosing air in more than one tire....heck it is cheaper to have a tire FIXED..plug or patch, than a can of fix a flat...

Discount Tire will fix flats for free.

or

Get one of those 12V compressors and pump them up a couple of times a day till your new tires get here.

AutoZone has one for &19.99… "Slime/300 PSI 12 volt air compressor with gauge and light.”

Walmart has the same one for $17.54…. here’s their part # 0071628121003

The one and only time I had a flat in YEARS it was a holiday, nothing open - MINI had the flat in my driveway so I used a plug in the tire (cheapo non-professional kit) but the hole was just a tad bigger so I used the fixaflat stuff as well and it worked fine. Some weeks later I took it to get fixed 'for real' and they could barely get the plug out - they said no doubt it was as permanent as any patch they would put in.. wonder if a plug and the miserable goop really is a ok long term vs just the goop itself.

One thing to note - if you don't put plain old air in after you pump the tire full of the goop (ie clear the valve) , the valve may get jammed up such that you can't add air later - I almost had that problem..
