Seat Upgrade?

Does anybody out here in MINI Land know if the front and rear seats from a 2007 MCS will bolt into my 2002 MCS? I'm considering a swap out....

Yeah, my wife would slaughter me. I have a lead on some 2007 seats and wanted to go with those. I just don't know if they'll bolt in. I'm especially worried about the rear seat...

The 2nd Gen. seats will not fit the 1st Gen cars.
Tracks are different as well as mounting points.

No problem.
If you want to change 1st Gen. seats, such as 06 into 04, that can be done with no problem.
When changeing seats, always disconnet battery first.
Prevents codes showing up.

Is it worth it?

Are the 06 seats better? The worst thing about my 2002 is the seats. Are the ones in an s the same?

My 2005 seats suck, for what it's worth. The heaters are GREAT, but the seats themselves...not so much. This is even more obvious since I got to England to sit in my folks' 2nd gen seats. I'm sorry to hear they won't fit in the 1st gen cars, as this limits my salvage options even further than the difficulty posed by finding some salvage seats in the first place...
