Newbie Here, 03 Mini Cooper ?'s

My wifes 03 Mini Cooper has 125xxx miles. I was wondering what I need to do for a tune up? Also, are there any performance upgrades that can be done to gain more power? Thanks in advance.

Lots of threads on this, just used the search bar. Most bang for your buck would be a smaller pulley for the supercharger. Tune up wise: ignition wires, coil, spark plugs, control arm bushings, new fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, cabin air filter, seafoam treatment, etc.

What coil and spark plugs should be used? Where can you get a fuel filter?

Minimania, moss mini, way motor works, etc. all good sources for parts. I would suggest the Kingsborne Performance wires (about $80) which is cheaper than OEM and they work well. They are various coils but if you go on those sites you can see what you think will be the best for your wife's car. As for the fuel filter, that has to be ordered online (unless you want to pay dealer price). So order it when you get the wires and coil. I Suggest you follow the link below for the how-to on the fuel filter. Our's are in the tank not in-line. It took me about an hour but it wasn't a hard job, don't need to be too mechanically savvy, just have to be gentle.
