Two things

One just wanted to say hi im new to this site. I have an 06 mini s. Second I just put on an m7 strut bar And now the driver side of the hood you have to force down. Is this normal after you put on or did I do something wrong??

Thanks

I believe the strut bar hits the liner under the hood and may be hard to close until the liner forms around the bar. i think others have soaked the liner to help form it to the bar a little easier. of course i might be wrong about this as i don't have the bar and am just going by memory here.

Yep......this is a known problem with strut bars especially the M7 one.

I removed my liner and added dynamat. Some people soak their liners with water to get them to fit the bar.
