Yep!! I have only had good experiences with the work from WMW. If I were in your position I'd only call Way

I priced a rebuild versus a crate motor two winters ago, and to my complete surprise I learned that the crate motor is cheaper (and warrantied).

Part 11 00 0 430 237 "Cooper Works Long Block" cost me $4,997.

In my case I replaced essentially everything in front of the firewall except the gearbox and diff - including supercharger, bearings, axles, clutch, and some of the engine accessories.

Total labor was 28 hours, and in my case I took this course rather than buy a new car (130k miles at the time).

I've now 30k on the new drive train which has been perfect, and my aim is to take the chassis to about the 250k mark without any substantial further investment.

No doubt this "bigger hammer" approach makes sense in some cases but not all, and I hope you may find the right answer for less money.

Still, if as I expect I can get 100k miles for the $11k total I spent on the car, that's quite a bit cheaper than the first 130k, which cost me closer to $30k.

Cheers,

Charlie
