>>ISO files for MINI Config tool....

You can try the above link.... I'm not sure if it still works but it's worth a shot.
The file is huge... so most (if not all) email servers would kick it out. The zipped ISO files are 40+ mb!!

If you get them downloaded you will then need to burn the file to a disk.

Happy Motoring,

That link works fine. Using a 56k modem, it took around 4 hours to download, but the burn only took about a minute. Works great!

I have used Nero to burn the CD by selecting burn image from the file menu and there comes an auto-run CD that you can customize the look of your Mini both inside and out. Very impressive program....

Hope it helps.

For those people without a CD writer. I found a great little utility which reads ISO files without the need to burn it to CD. It's called ISOBuster and I used it to get the Mini Configurator working! You can find it here: http://download.com.com/3000-2248-10...ml?tag=lst-0-8

Cheers.

Davis: Welcome to MCO! Thanks for that link to the ISOBuster - what a nifty little tool! I'm glad to have that in my "toolbox!"

If anyone needs a car made up on the configurator, e-mail me, SarcuxKSU@msn.com, and I'll do one up for ya, then mail it. Easier than you having to wait the 10 aeons to download the file, then burn it, and all that jazz.

Thanks, nice to be here. I post on Mini2 as Stellablade. I'll try and figure out how to change my username!

I take it either
1. No one understood my question
2. Nobody else is interested in making "custom" colors but me.
or
3. Nobody else knows how the MINI programmers created the ".col" files used in this program.

That's ok. I haven't given up quite yet....

Is the Configurator still available or could my work firewall be tripping me up?

Thanks for the ISO Buster! I just downloaded it and it's great!

Now anyone wanting the Configurator can have it! I have it on CD, but loaned it to my best friend, so this ISO Buster on my computer is great!!!

With Linux I can hot-mount isos as file systems.
