Help, what is code P1498

I just installed my boost gauge and volt gauge. I now have pending code P1498. What is it?

this thread says it is likely a vacuum leak.

With a boost install I would check all connections.

I don't know what that code is but I'd guess it has to do with your boost gauge install. Vacuum leak where you've hooked the probe?

Well I couldn't find the code, but I did remove the intercooler and underneath I found there was a small kink in the the coming from the fuel pressure regulator and the hose was not on tight enough. Once those problems where corrected I retested everything, the code cleared and the gauge was working properly

In my experience the 1498 is a vacuum fault most likely the hose you found is what caused it.
