R50/53 Does no PDC mean no power steering fan as well?
Does no PDC mean no power steering fan as well?
About once or twice a year, the fuse for my Park Distance Control sensor blows. That's no big deal in and of itself, but if I'm remembering correctly, the same fuse powers the fan on the power steering pump.
Can anyone confirm if that's correct? I haven't been having any problems with the steering, but I'm trying to figure out how urgently I need to replace the fuse.
If I want to crawl under the car to double-check, should the PS fan be spinning any time the car's running, or is there some kind of thermostat/relay?
The car is a 2006 'S' cabrio.
