R50/53 Crashed MINI for sell
Read the description of this MINI. The person selling it has not a clue about how much damage was done or even MINI’s themselves.

Does anyone know anything about this car? Was it someone on the board?

The frame on that is isgone, look at the passanger door it has been wrapped around a tree or pole, the sunroof is popped out.
It is only worth the engine if it is ok but then again they do not have the key and the mileage is unknown.
My best friend owns a body shop and he can fix anything but would not even toucj this one.

That is a pretty banged up MCS. Probably hit something or sideswiped a guard rail on the left door, hit the rear left wheel and bent it in then slid to the right sideways to smack into a pole or post to cave in the right passenger door.
The rear hatch is not likely to open. What a mess. Good luck.
You could salvage the most of the engine, getrag transmission, tail lights, CD changer (if any), headlights, floor mats, and shift ****.
I hope the driver and any occupants did OK.

parklife; great photos! I pity the poor sucker who buys a flooded Mini. To an insurance company, the car is totaled. Sell the hood, fenders, doors, hatch, and scrap the rest!

>>Those pics are pretty extreme... does anyone know if anyone has died in a MINI accident?
About 2 months ago, there was an article in a North Carolina paper about someone that died in a MINI. Had a collision with a wall and a semi if I recall correctly.

ouchy, I wonder if the water in the one photo caused a distraction? ...and hence
the accident???
On a car that has water damage, unless it's to salvage body parts, or a few basic
mechanical parts- it's usually junk...
sndwave, the Red S looks like it DOES have salvagable driving lights tho  link???
ANY car can roll, even Corvettes and 911 Turbo's role. all it takes is a bad angle and speed. The laws of physics do the rest
