Nope no corner weighting. It's really debatible if corner weighting is necessary on a street car, there's not much gain, and if you ever need to make an adjustment to the ride height it needs to be redone. Just my opinion but it is something that can wait untill everything else is set up perfect.

I am going to trim a little weight off the front end by cuting my bumper today, and maby make some other small adjustments.

As promised last night, here are some more pic's of this weekend's motor work after everything was put back togeather. Plus todays bumper cutting. I couldn't help myself from slightly copying TRICKEL-X's idea with the bolt holes in the bumper, it just kinda fits with the attitude of the car.

Well here they are;
The bumper BEFORE I dropped 7 pounds of metal off of it.

And the end result, 3 hours and 5 grinder wheels later.

A close up of my TRICKEL-X bumper skull.

Then it was back on the car. Too bad it has to be covered up.

And now for the engine bay pic's.

The new W/M nozzle installed, and working better than ever. If I where to do it again I would of moved it about a half an inch down and to the left.

The new boost gauge line where I had the W/M nozzle before. I lost all the vibrations in the gauge and it seems a little more accurate now.

I might as well put up my shock towers/camber plates now that everything is adjusted, just to show how close to maxed out the plates are to get 2.3 degrees. Notice how far off the adjustment range is from the left to right side. This differance cant always be compensated for with fixed plates.

That's all I have for now.

Nice work there, but I'd have left the bumper alone(too much liability for you and your MINI if there's a road collision).

I've seen MINI's that have rearended someone before, and I can say that I really dont feel any less safe with half a bumper. From what I have seen in the body shops the engine serves as more crash protection than the pice of aluminum in front of it.

Back to cold and snowey, not geting anything done.

See my no fault T-bone accident gallery photos. The bumber in concert with the crush tubes work well. You're still doing super work though!

Not sure what DGR53 used, but Check out Lamin-X. They have top notch films. I've had my headlight films on for at least 6 months now and they are still as good as new.

I used R-vinyl film it's pretty good stuff, but buy extra. Its a PITA to get stretched on properly and requires a blow dryer and a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol plus an extra set of hands. I had to do one of them 3 times either because I tore the vinyl or it didn't match the other side. It's one of those things that takes practice.

Thanks I thought I was running out of light, but everything came out perfect. The best pictures I have taken in a while, and you cant even tell that the car is dirty as hell.

Great shots. I got a new camera and as soon as I learn how to use it, I'll be focusing it on L'il Red. I hope to see everyone at the Leprechaun rally!

JJF, Go SOUTH! There is some great open areas in KY/TN. Land between the lakes in Kentuckey is one of my favorite places of all time. Then go another 100 or so miles and you have Nashville, there is some great places in and around Franklen Tennessee aswell.

Chuck, Nice pick on the photo capturing device. I have wanted a good digital SLR camera for a long time, just never got around to it.

Guys just look for an odd place without traffic to use as a backdrop. The camera angle is as important as lighting, you want to use angles that are not comonly seen (either higher or lower than you normally look at it, the 2 good tunnel pics the camera was actually on the ground) This creates some speed in the shots, the higher you go unless its an elevated shot the more boring in most cases. Lighting is the other biggie, wait for kinda low but colorfull light (SUNRISE OR SUNSET, NOT NOON). Practice and you can make your car look good in a trailer park with a trampoline in a tree.
