R50/53 Is bluetooth a factory or dealer option?

If you know the "code", if there is one, please provide it.

Also, any detail on price ($450?) would be appreciated.

In the US, no Bluetooth is not available, nor is there any information from MINI if it will be available on US spec cars.

You might want to check on MINI2 and do a search in the Interior and ICE forums to see if it is in fact available in other nations...

Actually, I was just at the dealership, and I was looking through the dealer catalog options.

Bluetooth is available here according to the dealer. Call your local dealer, they will be able to tell you straight up.

It is now available at your local dealer as an add on accessory so $450 plus install.

It is in the new accessory catalog as a retrofit option but no kits are available yet in the US. I have been checking with my dealer weekly.

Gabe, when I picked up my 2004 MCS I was informed that the car was 'blue tooth ready' but the software was still being developed.
