R50/53 What's your shirt number?
I'm going to call my dealer and see if they have received more shirts. I bought a mug and two keychains when I ordered, but they didn't have any shirts when the mini arrived. They did however offer me an athletic supporter with mini written on it, but I decided to pass.... not putting the boys in that... not even if it was number one.
I will call them about the shirt tomorrow. Hopefully they won't give me the same old.... shirt.

Hi Clover!
Nice to hear from you. Well I called the dealer, and no shirts. He did however offer me one of the new shipment of supporters with 'I got the Premium Package' on them... said no, not my style, even with bonnet stripes. Told him I'll wait until they get the battery heated, fur lined one, with 'Cold Weather Package' on it.
On the other fronts, I've been doing good. Somehow the car has almost 3500 miles on it. I am surprised and delighted that this car is more enjoyable each day. Even when I try to psych myself out-- before I get into it, I say 'it's just a car, no big deal', within two miles I'm saying 'I don't understand it, I already like this car more today than yesterday.'
I still am wrestling with the darn seats though. If I had it to do over, I would have ordered the sports seats with fabric (and I may well do this for 2003). I asked and there is no way to switch out seats in the one I have.
Until then, I have taken to meeting at least one new acquaintence a day who is over 200 pounds, and who will sit in my drivers seat for a few minutes. Seems after this, the car seat is more comfortable for a day or so, and over time, either the seat or my back is slowly breaking in.
Really, it has become more comfortable over time, and the suggestions from the group were invaluable in getting me through the first few weeks... I still use the BMW seat adjustment when readjusting the seat.
I hope you have been having fun with your mini. How does your husband like the mini? Is he thinking of one in his future? I think a gold 2003 might have his name on it. Keep us posted
Take care,
Steve

Number 238 when I picked up my MCS today from Morristown MINI. No charge. Also got 7-in-1 Navigation tool for my son for free also. Hey, it's the least they can do, I have just about every other MINI gear item from the dealer over the past 4 months. Must have spent $500+ dollars on clothes, hats, and other accessories (Cd kit, license frame, tire caps, cuckoo clock, pens, etc, etc...)
I got these items for FREE with my mcs from Bill Jacobs MINI, IL:
2 silver key chains (steering wheel shaped)
1 smint (mini logo)
2 sodas
A week later #240 T shirt (XL) and a thank you card
arrived in the mail at no charge.
Mororing Kit should arrive any day now!
