North American Motoring Store

I already bought a couple calendars and a hat.

July = best month

Ok ok, so I had a bit of an inside track on finding out the store was up.

Thanks Mark!

Dave,

I really appreciate your post. Its been a lot of work pulling all these items together...I have a new appreciation for the term Holiday Stress . Thanks also for being the first customer of the store!

A couple questions about the store's website.

Are you going to be accepting payments via Paypal in the future? I couldn't find any reference to it on the site.

Why all the personal data requirements just to send a contact message? Surely, my name, address, and phone # aren't necessary to answer an email inquiry.

I haven't planned on using Paypal based on my last experiences with using it to handle transactions for our previous shirts. I got a lot of feedback relative to "Why can't you take my credit card without having to sign up for Paypal?" Given that I put together the site with support for all the major cards. That said, if you really want to use Paypal email me at the address below and I can create an invoice for you and you can use your Paypal account. Once I receive payment I'll ship everything out to you. I would prefer that everyone use the store but I am happy to help accomodate unique circumstances.

As for the contact message I haven't made any modifications to the basic template. I agree...there usually isn't a need to capture as much information as it requests. I suspect it will be, however, some time before I can change any of the data capture information on the form. In the meantime, as above, feel free to email me at the address below. I'm glad to help however I can.

Best regards,

Mark

All the new products look great Mark!

I was wondering, who did the illustration on the new t-shirts? And are the authors of the photo's used in the calendar credited by name, or by their NAM nicknames? I just thought that would be interesting to see.

Everyone,

Thanks for ALL the orders! I feel like that IBM commercial where the three guys turned on their ecommerce store and saw the orders slowly start...then go faster...then go faster...until it was a deluge! I'll be working all weekend to get orders packaged up so hopefully I can get the first orders out Monday morning. Thanks again for all the orders to date...keep them coming by telling your friends

Happy holidays and best regards,

Mark

Just ordered a calender, hat and t-shirt. The items look well designed. This is also the least I can do to support a web site/community that has given me so much over the last 14+ months.

Happy Holidays!

Uh oh - trouble in the store!

I'm in Canada. Apparently there's no method to ship to Canada. Mark, what gives? This is North American Motoring, right? And the June picture is a Canadian MINImeet image.

This must be a mistake. The postal service does cross the border!

Help! I need the calendar as a Christmas gift for the deck hands on the boat!

Mark,
I love that t-shirt! It even has a dog in the car! It's so perfect for the MINI community!

About the only thing missing is the apple lap top we all know the dog has in the back seat! :wink

I didn't know of a coupon code. I sure hope I didn't miss it somewhere on the site!
Or is that something that will be used in the future?

Rygold,
Never fear...I can definitely ship to Canada. Just email me directly and I'll invoice you for everything and you can pay online with Visa, MC, Amex, or Discover. Currently the store doesn't have the greatest flexibility when it comes to calculating shipping so I'm handling this separately. Email me at the address below with items and sizes (if appropriate) and I'll get you a quote. Everyone else outside of the US feel free to contact me directly as well. Thanks!

Mark

The coupon code capability is something that is built into the software I use for the store and something I might make use of in the future. As for the Apple lap top the calendar and shirt design were both done on a Mac

Thanks!

Mark
