i called 866-ask-mini to have them update the status of the my car. i know for a fact that my car is sitting in new jersey somewhere waiting for transport. i just needed the confirmation since the website still has my car "en-route" and dealer has my car "being built." the gentleman at mini said they only track the car from production to southhampton (car at sea). he said i have to contact my dealer for status from the time it is on the ship to time of arrival at the dealership. i called twice and talked to two different people and got the same response. does anyone else waiting for his mini got this experience from the 866-ask-mini guy??

 

This is standard and accurate. Call your MA. Expect it to take about a week from arrival on shore to the dealer. They may try to rush it to beat end of month delivery.

 

866-ASK-MINI is only useful for tracking your car to Southampton. After that, go to the shipping company wlna's website as it is the most accurate. After your car reaches New Jersey, it goes into a black hole and no one could tell you where it is.

But once your car reaches New Jersey, it won't be long. Congrats on your new car!
