>>Well my new MCS is home. Haven't Christened it yet but my other car next to it is "SAVAGE65", hence my handle here. Don't they look good together?

Seriously, I kept getting a "cannont display this page" message. It was easier to try it a few times then start over. Finally, I gave up and saw your message. Whoops. It's fixed.

>>It's a 2400 lb Carrera 3.0 with Ruf CTR bodywork and a whipple-supercharged, intercooled 3.6.

WOW! Might even be a worthy opponent for my 2,050 lb 360 rwhp beast !

Savage65,
I almost bought a Cobra in late 61. Drove it at a Ford dealership in Concord, CA and decided I was not going to pay $7,000.00 for any car. BIG MISTAKE
SO, when the MINI came out I said I'm not making the same mistake twice! I bought the car I wanted this time. My neighbor has a Cobra (replica) and I want to get him on a REALLY curvey course in the parking lot.

>>Your beast is awesome. Mine can do an 11.6 at 123 mph in the 1/4. I'm sure it would be close. Top gear is only good for 170. But it gets there fast! Good traction!
>>PerfPow
Yes, it would be close. I would have the upper hand until about 80 mph but after that your aerodynamics will give you a considerable edge. It could all come down to who hooks up best.
I'm just on street tires but the rear end is set up for a superb hookup, with positraction also. No 1/4 mile runs with this setup though. Maybe this summer?
