take a wire hanger and attach it under the car so it will hang down and touch the ground. this will take care of that shock your getting.

I sometimes do, especially when it is really dry out. I haven't been shocked lately though.

That would explain why I haven't been shocked lately. I've been rocking the winter rubbers since November.

Static shocks in Miami? Wow, I always thought it was very humid there and that would eliminate the possibility. Hmph.
Yeah, try rubber mats. I never get shocked in my MINI. Five years now.

I get shocked all the time. Maybe I just need to get rid of the chrome handles. But you would never catch me with one of those mizter straps dragging behind my MINI. And reduce fatigue? Sounds like a load of bull to me.

Never been shocked, but I have the OEM Canadian rubber floor mats.

I have rubber floor mats and I get shocked a lot I don't know why, but in the winter it's almost every time I drive.

Just keep your hand on the edge of the door as you enter/exit the seat, so you are continually grounded. Works for me, even in upper-Midwest winters when static is omnipresent.
