Finally able to downsize to 16" Konig Traffik with non-runflats. For those that are interested, it is a slightly softer ride and feels better through the corners (no wheel hop).

you had "wheel hop" thru the corners with the 17"s? Is that normal, or when you are REally burning around the bend.

Also, why does the 16" alleviate wheel hop? i can see how it would be softer, but isn't it less traction, technically?

Smaller tire sidewalls tend to break traction more suddenly and more violently then larger sidewall tires. Larger sidewalls are more "forgiving."

 

Geeee, I wonder why they look so good, maybe because they are trying to copy the SSR Competitions! Konigs are usually for ricers, but not this set (again, because they copied the SSRs).
