I had heard back in late winter that the mugs were no longer available. The very same mugs that MINIUSA was sending out to owners for free was also available for sale.

It disappeared from MINI's catalogs both in print and online sometime around the first of the year, and it seems that was about the time that they also stopped sending them out.

If somebody manages to get a confirmation from MINIUSA regarding the availabilty of these mugs please update us all...

Many MINI clubs were offering similar stainless steel travel mugs through stores that they setup on CafePress.com although it looks like CafePress has discontinued them as well.

The first "mod" I made to my car was to rip that stupid thing off of the dash.

Geez. What a dumb looking thing that was. And the little picture of a wine glass with a line through it. Priceless.

You shouldn't be drinking and driving anyway...

The free mugs were for 02-04ish I think. Only for those who didn't get the huge add on cup holder on the newer models. Got one with my 03, none for the 05. The one i did get fell apart though :impatient

A cupholder which basically serves one purpose: holding an Ipod mount or some such. Every time I've put a large cup from some fast-food place in it, I've been forced to hold it steady with one hand, because of the cheapness of the plastic with the one bolt holding it in place.

The Elusive Mini Mug

From my extensive research it seems I am not the first to encounter this problem: my boyfriend got a mini mug (the one with orange top) in '04 when he bought his car and I recently lost it! I really would like to get him a new one for Christmas but cant find one online ANYWHERE! Suggestions? Leads?
