The November (!), 2002 issue of Grassroots Motorsports Magazine, pp. 93-98, has a really interesting article about the MINI as project car. MC fans will be glad to know (if they don't already via other threads) that their MINI compares quite favorably with the MCS, especially at 0-30, before any project modifications. They tested the car well and then installed the Mini Mania Stage One kit, to good advantage. This is part one of the article, to be continued in the next issue. This first article concludes: "Our first week of possession left us completely delighted with this car and eager for week two." And this even after experiencing the notorious shifter linkage problem. The overall message is, as you might expect: Motor On!
