Curb Rash - how to repair?

I have a set of 17" S-lites with varying degrees of curb rash. I have removed the tires. Can someone point me to a DIY, or describe the steps, on how to dress it up? TIA.

1. Go to TireRack.com
2. Pick wheels
3. Pull out credit card

A member of my local MINI club fixed his curb rash with JB Weld.
