I bought a set of team dynamics wheels from a MIata owner. They have the same offset and bolt pattern but the lug nut holes are smaller. The factory bolt (m12x1.5) will not seat on the wheels.

Is it possible to get m12 bolts with smaller heads or do I need to get the wheels machined to accomodate MINI bolts?

 

Might need "tuner" lug bolts. I had the same problem when I put a set of MINI wheels on my Mazda MX3.

 

can you tell me more about the tuner bolts? I also want to switch to studs. I got a stud kit but the nuts do not provide enough clearance for a socket to tighten things up Is it possible to get "tuner' lug nuts?
