Cylinder shaped part under driver side seat

Hi all,
I found this little silver colored, cylinder shaped object under my seat when i was cleaning my Mini yesterday. I have no idea what it is, but i believe it is a part came off from my car. Can anybody tell me what this part is?

Thanks in advance
-S

p.s. Photos are little blurry, I can send you better photos when i get back home.

Doesn't look familiar, but is a little blurry to see.

Ah, a play on words joke wherein the victim is to ask "what's a henweigh?" To which the response is, "about 5 pounds," or some other weight the teller fancies. The victim is dumbfound until the wordplay sinks in, at which point he would chuckle quietly to himself.

Looks like some sort of a electrical connector... I wuld think something else would snap around that thing in the groove... I think I see a guide pin on the inside.
Fun to think about.
