When I had my '05 MCS I purchased 2 shift ***** from Doug. One was metal and the other a #3 billiard ball. Loved them both. Purchased a 2009 BMW 135 and contacted Doug. Tremendous customer service. I got plain red(fire engine red) 2 1/16" ****. It is perfect and matches my Crimson Red 135. Thanks Doug.

 

I agree. For one man, Doug does an amazing job at responding to emails immediately and with great compassion for his product and customers. I just purchased a used Mini, and although I was laid off recently, I knew I must have a Whalen in my car.

I would have loved the 50th anniversary edition ****, but I asked Doug about any blemished units, and he just happened to have one in stock. Honestly, if he hadn't pointed out the blemish in e-mails, I would never have noticed it when it arrived. He said he wouldn't sell that unit as new to a customer, and I have to say that shows great integrity. I received a great deal, and I'm ever grateful that Doug is so accommodating.

Like many others have said time and again, it's not just a cosmetic swap. The weight of the stainless **** makes shifting smoother and more effortless. The shifter just sort of glides into gears now with a little nudge.

Awesome product from a guy that just makes you want to buy more!
