Anyone out there has it installed? Is it worth it? I'm debating getting it. I really miss monitoring the oil temp. However, I'm not sure the spot it's place in is easy to see. Thank you in advance for your help.

I've got it. I bought from my dealer and had them install it. Here's my $0.02:

1. No regrets overall and I would buy it again if starting over
2. Pros: it is easy to see, and looks really cool at night
3. Cons: a. price $250 for parts alone...not cheap!, b. uses up the storage space under the toggle switch bank

I wouldn't worry about easiness-to-see...it is easy to see from the driver's position. In terms of looks, during daylight it is not very noticeable and doesn't add that much "gadget-iness" to the car's interior look, but at night it glows nicely and generates admiring comments from your co-pilot!

One thing you should be aware of is that the actual units have matte black bezels, not chrome bezels as shown in the MINI Accessory catalog. (At least mine weren't.)

Hope this helps.
