I have found 2 magazines dedicated to the MINI, "Mini World" being one of them, both from the UK. and both covering the classic and new Mini.

Still looking for more names!!! (I've got a couple of my own). The website needs to be available too.

I want to have a "dummy" copy available to show at this year's SEMA show.

UPDATE:
Everything is moving forward for the first issue of the ONLY magzine dedicated to the new MINI.
It will be published by Mini owners for Mini owners and the only Mini magazine published in North America.
When the pub date is established, it will be announced.

I can still use your help.
Any suggestions, submissions and ideas are greatfully accepted.

 

Who's the publisher? Will it be on newsstands?

 

Hey guys, just remember, there are many proud MINI owners who have no interest whatsoever in 'performance' mods - I'm one of them. If you create a MINI Magazine, include features for ALL owners, not just the guys who spend the rent money on pulleys and NOx. They seem to make the most noise and, unfortunately, get the most attention.

 

I've been hoping for a magazine for new MINI owners since 2002. I'd like to see a lot of the same things we get on this website (but in a magazine, so I can take it to "the office", or to bed, or with me while travelling)

1. Mods (Interior, Exterior, Performance)
2. News and photos from and about regional clubs and events
3. Every issue could feature several of the best routes in North America for MINI Motoring (Maps, Pictures, Descriptions)
4. Classifieds
5. Rumors
6. How-tos

Sounds a bit like MCO? I'd subscribe, fo sho!

This might be a c-r-a-z-y idea but...

Why not hook-up with Mr. Ferguson and publish "North American Motoring"???

The name has already been approved by the "suits" and the companion website is pretty well developed so it could be an incredible opportunity. Of course Mr. Ferguson may have issues with this but it's worth a chat, eh what?

I like what ccm5 said about route maps,etc... but you could also do features on various events around the nation, that would be cool.

That's a great idea...you could let sponsors do cross-marketing, build loyalty because you'd be covering 2 media types, you'd have a great source for "how-to" articles, and you could do some interactive stuff like publishing the best post or thread of each month in the magazine to recognize some of the great contributors on this site and at the same time encourage people to keep making helpful posts.
