Thinking of buying this MINI. Opinions?
hello all. I found this MINI and I am really thinking of buying it. What do you guys think?

Well, it is a "Pre-facelift" 2004 Cooper S with 60K miles and "appears" to be in good condition. Looks like it has the Premium, Sport and Cold packages, leatherette seats and standard stereo (Not upgraded Harmon Kardon).
Personally, I would recommend paying another $1K or so and get a 2005 MCS which benefits from the "facelift" improvements MINI introduced that year...Better gearing, more power/torque, etc.
For that baby 2004 I would not offer a penny over $12K, but that's me.
However, a full mechanical inspection would give you a better idea as to what repairs this vehicle may need. Typically at that mileage the car needs new engine belts, suspension bushings, etc that can quickly add up to the repair bill. Have a professional mechanic inspect the car on a lift. Money well spent for peace of mind.
