I am looking for a diagnostic scanner that is BMW/MINI specific in that it can read their specific codes and language. I am looking at a few and wanted to know if anyone has any of these and their thoughts as well as any others that I've missed:

3. ScanGaugeII (not BMW/MINI specific) http://www.scangauge.com/

I would love a GT1 but $1000 is a little high for me so does anyone know how these compair and is there anything else out there that I should be considering?

their all about the same really. if you could get one with an oscilloscope that would probably be your best bet though they tend to be kinda pricey

 

I have a scan gauge II and really like it. Its not vehicle specific so I can use it on our Subaru, Mazda and Mini.
