For the 2006 CHeckMate Minis with the silver roof, silver mirrors and silver bonnet stripes (car is dark blue) what color is the CHECKS graphic on the A pillar area?

I think they might be black and SILVER (not white) but very hard for me to tell in the pictures that I have seen of the cars.

It's actually the A-panel, not the A-pillar. (The A-pillars are the vertical pieces of metal on either side of the windshield.)

It looks like the light checks are silver. On most of the cars I could find pictures of, it looked like the dark checks were body-color, but in this picture, they look more like black.

 

Yes, the light checks are indeed SILVER while the other checks are clear I believe (BODY COLOR) . My JCW Checkmate is Astro Black (dark blue) and for sale in the market section. Here is a picture from another thread:

The U bonnet stripe, mirrors, and roof are all silver too

Checks silver (closely matching the roof), dark checks body color on dark cars.

Checks black, light areas body color on light cars.

Hood striping was optional on Checkmate editions, and generally "U" shaped that year.
