Pics of the L-shaped First Aid Kit
Pics of the FAK that my gf purchased in Switzerland for me. Sorry, no part number, she threw the receipt away...

It has a piece of velcro on the back, probably so you could mount it to the back of the access panel or something.

Quote: In Germany we have those and a warning triangle that mounts up under the boot shelf.
I have the warning triangle on my US-spec car as well (purchased from someone on the forum), along with the parcel shelf (purchased before MINI banned them from the US), and the pre-'05 euro arm rest (purchased from Germany).

I have no idea why MINI wouldn't have just included the warning triangle and first aid kit in the US-spec cars. They're quite useful to have for emergencies!

I agree, you think that it would be a normal accessory. What is in the long portion of that FAK? Here in Germany we are now required to carry a visibility vest (just found out yesterday). Is that in there?

In the long part of the FAK: Scissors, Triangular Bandages x2, Wound Compresses x2, First Aid Dressing x 3 (looks like a few rolls of gauze), Burn Dressing x2 (looks like a couple rolls of tighter mesh gauze), Square shaped Burn Dressing x1, and instructions for use.

In the bottom (shorter) part of the FAK: Adhesive Bandage 8pc, Disposable Gloves x 2pairs, Elastic Bandage x 5 (more gauze rolls?), First Aid Blanket, and Adhesive tape.

Aw man, no drugs...unlike the kit for my w123 Mercedes.

Look like Franz Kalff makes both kits. They also make the kits that I have at the office as well so they are very popular here.

The green TUV kit is the one in my wifes car. There are different requirements (spoke to a German driving teacher friend of mine) between countries so he thinks that it is a content difference. More than likely that is all but it is cool to see another style for sure.
